Meet Dr. Kilical
Yasemin Kilical, DDS
Children are the most precious thing in a parent’s life and I treat each child as if they were my own, just as I hope every medical professional would care for my child! As a pediatric dentist, I am dedicated to providing high-quality, positive dental experiences, tailored to the child’s unique situation and their parents’ expectations.
I graduated from The George Washington University with a major in Biology and minor in psychology in 2003. I then went on to the National Institutes of Health, where I did research on bone marrow transplant and leukemia and published 13 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. I then pursued my true passion, and went to dental school at Columbia University and completed my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009. I completed a general practice residency through New York Methodist Hospital, and after that came my pediatric dentistry residency at Interfaith Medical Center. I am a Board Certified (Diplomate) by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
As a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and the Association of American Pediatric Dentistry, I have access to a range of continuing education. I seek out opportunities to learn about the latest trends in pediatric dentistry, especially new ways to provide minimally invasive, conservative treatments. By staying up to date, I am able to provide patients with the best care, using the most modern tools and techniques.
Personal Life
I grew up in McLean, Virginia, and have lived in Bergen County for some time. If I’m not caring for growing smiles, I’m usually with my wonderful family. My husband, who is an interventional radiologist, and I have three young daughters, plus a very spoiled pooch named Mishka.
